Press Release
Brazilian mobile payment solutions provider EverMobile has launched the country's first integrated mobile payment and mobile banking application, the company said in a statement.

The solution allows mobile banking users to purchase goods and validate payments through their cell phones with total security, apart from using already available banking operations such as bill payments and inter-account transfers. The system can also be accessed from a web environment, such as banks' websites or e-commerce sites, and at point of sales terminals, all using the customer's phone as the paying account. Furthermore, the solution can integrate with applications based on a variety of technologies, such as SMS, WAP, BREW and J2ME.

"Nowadays, about 40% of active cell phones in Brazil are compatible with this technology," EverMobile's marketing director Raul Pavão told BNamericas. "EverMobile believes this number will grow to 80% in one year because consumers are constantly changing their devices for better ones which offer more service options."

EverMobile's flexible platform will enable the company to provide customized service in order to guarantee the solution's successful operation in any financial institution's choice of business model, reducing operational costs.

>Banrisul, Sicredi and federal bank Banco do Brasil operate over the EverMobile m-banking platform and the service is available to clients of mobile operators Vivo, Claro, TIM Brasil and Oi. EverMobile expects to launch two more m-payment tools in the next few weeks.
